Mip van de Pol(1969) is the creative designer behind the contemporary accessories label "Mippies". Mip lived and worked in London for 8 years, where she had a wide range of jobs. After travelling around for nearly two years, during which she travelled to many parts of the world, she finally returned to The Netherlands in 1998.

 

The inspiration she found in distant countries and the influence of the London hippy scene, to which she belonged for several years, form the base for the realisation of her dream. To design her own line of accessories.

 

With her love of exceptional authentic materials and feel for trends, Mip van de Pol has for the last few years worked hard to establish the "Mippies" label and make a name for herself in the accessories branch. "Mippies" is established in contemporary fashion, not only in The Netherlands but also further away.

 

"Mippies" brings out a new collection of accessories 2  times a year. Although each is collection in itself, there is a recognised "Mippies" style. A combination of hip and chic, with a bit of Dutch spirit.
